U2723QE, Mac Mini + MacBook Pro connection
I wish to connect two Mac machines to my UltraSharp U2723QE using USB. So far, I have connected both the machines to my monitor using USB-C =
1. Mac Mini through the USB-C port at the center
2. MacBook Pro through the USB-C port on the left side
I would like to-
1. Easily switch between the two machines using a shortcut key.
2. If possible, use my keyboard and mouse connected to Mac Mini to control both the machines.
Is this possible? Please let me know how.

Since the Mac Mini does not need power from the monitor, why don't you try this:
- Connect the Mac Mini to the monitor using an HDMI cable
- Connect the Mac Mini to the monitor using the USB-A (mac) to USB-C upstream (monitor) that came with your monitor
- Keep the macbook pro with usb-c to usb-c (#5 above)
That should allow you to KVM switch between both, please take a look at the manual for more details

Your scenario will not work. The monitor only has one USB-C port dedicated to Video in from a PC.
U2723QX/U2723QE/U3223QE ports =
#3 HDMI video in
#4 DP video in
#5 USB-C video in (Video + USB Data)
#8 USB-C upstream (USB Data only, no video!)
#15 USB-C downstream (USB Data only, no video!)

@DELL-Chris M - I connected Mac Mini to #5 and Macbook Pro to #15 and I could actually get the video from Macbook Pro. I simply had to mirror the display to Dell U2723QE.
I'm now looking for ways to quickly switch between the input sources; through keyboard and not having to press buttons on Dell monitor.
