Just purchased new New U3014 UltraSharp 30-Inch PremierColor monitor via Amazon. I'm not very experienced or knowledgeable about computers. I connected the monitor to my PC via DVI connection.  My PC recognizes this monitor model but the highest resolution "offered" is 1920x1080 so I cannot get 2560x1600. Other than this issue, the picture looks fine however my PC seems to have slowed down quite a bit. I would try to connect via DP or miniDP but my PC isn't able to take these inputs. My graphics card or driver is AMD Radeon HD 6570 which, according to its specs, can achieve 2560x1600 via "Dual-link DVI with HDCP". I don't know what that last bit means - is this my problem?  If so, how can I deal with it?
