U3014 Power on/off issues
Powering my U3014 on/off is behaving strangely and I'm wondering if I need to initiate a return or is there something else I can do?
While the PC is on, if I switch the monitor off I cannot switch it back on unless I power cycle it.
Even weirder, if the monitor is off when starting the PC, it will switch on but then I can't switch it off, even after shutting down the PC.

Sotiri,
The monitor power cord should be plugged directly into the wall socket while troubleshooting. Disconnect all monitor cabling from the computer EXCEPT for a single DVI cable. Retest.

Yup, turns out it was a bad DP cable. I never thought the video cable could affect the power on/off switch. Thanks Chris!
I tried a DVI cable like you suggested and it worked so I tried another DP cable and it works too.
