U3219Q, audio ON while screen is off?

Hello,

I'm wondering if there's a way to allow the audio out to continue while the screen is off?

I'm connecting via USB-C and receiving power while the screen is off.

If I were to use a USB-C adapter, music would continue even if the screen turned off. So I believe an audio out signal continues from my laptop even when the screen is off. Is there a setting to tell the monitor to pass through the audio to the audio out port on the monitor? (Perhaps similar to the power pass through setting)?

Laptop: Surface Book 3
Monitor: U3219Q
