U3219Q firmware update failed, USB-C not working

hello,

I tried to update my U3219Q minitor to the latest firmware M3B110 and got an "Update Error" message in less than 5 minutes while it was updating. I did from my MacBook Pro which this monitor is used with. After the update failed, the montior now no longer detect my MacBook Pro (connected via usb-c). I unplugged and turned the monitor on and off, reboot my MacBook Pro couple times, remove DDM, recusb-c cable but the monitor just doesn't detect my MacBook Pro anymore. I then try to update the monitor firmware from a Windows PC but it's even worse as the firmware update app report no monitor model detected! Both the Mac and Windows PC are connected to the montor with the Dell USB upstream cable during update. Can someone shed some light please! Thanks.

Unfortunately, the monitor is now broken. If both PCs were connected to the monitor at the same time when running the firmware update, that could have been the culprit. Since you are still inside the purchased warranty period, reply to the private messaging sent to you by the DELL-Cares agent.
