U4021QW, SSL2 USB Type-C device doesn't switch with KVM?

Recently received a U4021QW and I have an issue when using the KVM switch. All the devices that are connected to the monitor switch apart from one: a USB audio interface device, (SSL2 from Solid State Logic). If I disconnect the cable and reconnect, after switching, it appears fine, but I have to do this each time.

The devices I switch between are a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" (connected by TB) and a M1 Mac Mini (connected by DP and USB).

Any idea why?

Click our blue DELL-Cares username. Our profile page will appear. On the right click, "Send this user a private message". We will need the private U4021QW Service Tag.

The fact that all other USB devices connected to the U4021QW USB downstream ports switch over means that the U4021QW and KVM are functional.

Have you researched into the Solid State Logic SSL2 knowledge base?

Disconnect all other USB devices connected to the U4021QW USB downstream ports. Test the SSL2 on all four U4021QW USB downstream ports.

Hi @benfrain Wondering if you ever figured out a solution? I have the exact same setup and problem.

@bubbler_crab no, I didn't but to be honest I have only just come back to the board and seen your message.

I'm going to try the Focusrite 4th gen 2i2 instead and see if that auto switches. Main reason I got the SSL was because I wanted XLR outputs at the back and the 4th gen Focusrite has that too.
