UP2516D, randomly goes black for 2 to 4 second, then back on?

Brand new Dell UltraSharp UP2516D monitor just arrived today (08-15-2016).  It randomly goes black for 2 to 4 seconds and then comes back on. Anyone know what the issue is?  I have it hooked up to the computer with a HDMI cable.

Just got this new monitor (from B&H bhphotovideo.com)

to replace Dell U2414H. (8/11/2016)

The monitor would randomly goes blank, and sometime would work normally for entire session.

(see:   www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrgdMjfS2MY    )

Monitor connected to Surface Pro 3 using MiniDP-DP cable.

USB 3 upstream connected to Surface Pro 3.

    - Logitech USB keyboard receiver

    - TP-Link USB 3.0 AC1200 WiFi receiver

Speaker connected to audio out.

Monitor updated to the latest firmware.

No additional Dell software (driver or DDM) installed.

Windows 10. Surface Pro 3.

This setup has been working perfectly with my old U2414H, never a single blank-out.

Also, when I type in the service tag shown on the box, Dell website returns U2717D.

Here is the picture of the labels on the box.

Any suggestion? Solutions?

I have the same issue.  Purchased last week with A01 revision. (8/11/2016) from bhphotovideo.com.  Did you use the USB 3 upstream and plug into your PC?

I had to use an HDMI cable to my computer.

I mean besides the HDMI or displayport, did you also use the USB upstream to turn your monitor into a USB hub?

I am fairly certain that I did not do that.  Mostly, because I do not know how!  :)

I did change the cable to what I think is called the mini DP.

Oh well.... just to let you know, I decided to return this monitor.  From what I have found online, this problem seems to be related to built-in USB 3.0. Since you haven't use it, that means the true cause of this black-out is still unknown.  I too unplugged the USB upstream from my PC, and still goes blank.  I am not taking any chances, and I don't have time to trouble shoot and miss my 30 days return window.
