UP2716D, DUCCS failure

Question

I have tried at least 6 different versions of DUCCS and the application fails to go past showing the page with the color swatches. Some versions show a warning to upgrade to M3T102 (which I did a long time ago), while one version shows the probable issue by failing to install "RTHubSSContrl" which Windows appears to think is either a PUP or a virus. In essence DUCCS was working, and it no longer does because of Windows....as it appears. Please fix and release a new version ASAP.

I have found a solution to DUCCS not running because of the Windows 10 issue which is related to this explanation

Since Dell has not bothered to address the question in any way, after countless hours of wasting my time searching for answers, I found one that actually works installing and running the latest DUCCS for the UP2716D.

1) Download and install the latest version of i1 Profiler from this site

2) Download and install DUCCS (the latest version will still be 1.50 regardless of what the date of the release)

after install you may occasionally encounter a pop-up telling you to upgrade the firmware (if you have not already done so), but clicking it off and asking to calibrate again will work.

Dell's support website is a miserable mess with nobody really caring to clean it up and giving folks a chance at fixing Dell's past mistakes in hardware and software. What a shame. I have been a Dell customer for more than thirty five years.

The UP2716D warranty expired in August of 2018. But the problem has been there since day one. The service tag number is <private data removed>. I am not finding any acceptable solutions posted to the issue of monitor not being detected and the fact that DUCCS cannot be properly installed. The only reference I found that could explain this is this info on X-Rite's site which relates to older versions of their software.

Why did you install i1Profiler instead of updated Xrite Services (i1Profiler installs it too)?

i1Profiler will also install a tray app and a GPU calibration loader (low precision, banding) that may cause issues with other software.
To solve that driver signature errors it will be better to install just Xrite services.
