UP2716D, REC 709 looks pink?
Hi,
I just recently purchased a UP2716D. Its fresh out of the box. I'm on a Windows 10 machine. I do video work and wanted a monitor that can replicate REC 709. However, when I switch the color profile in the monitor to REC 709, the image/white point on the screen gets very pink. Am I doing something wrong? All other color profiles look normal with no pink tint.

We need more data before we can troubleshoot;
* Was this monitor purchased directly from Dell as new?
* If not from Dell, from whom did you purchase this Dell monitor?
* When was the purchase made?
* What is the non-private 20 digit S/N?
* What is the A0x revision?
* What operating system? Windows 10
* What specific PC model?
- If a Desktop PC, what video card? What video out ports are on the video card?
- If a Laptop PC, what video out ports are on the Laptop?
* Show in detail how the monitor is connected to the PC using all ports and cabling. Example =
PC GTX 1080 DP out port --> UP2716D DP to mDP cable --> UP2716D mDP in port
PC USB port --> UP2716D USB upstream cable --> UP2716D USB upstream port
* Have you gone into the monitor Menu- Others and reset to Factory Defaults, then retested?
* After reset to Factory Defaults, post pictures of the same image using;
Adobe RGB
sRGB
Rec 709
DCI-P3

Hi Chris, I will have to send you pictures when I get home, but here is the information you requested in order.
1. No
2. It was purchased New from Newegg.com
3. Purchase made less than a week ago
4. S/N: CN-0KV970-WS200-865-070L
5. REV A05
6. Windows 10
7. Custom PC, GTX 1070ti with Displayport, HDMI & DVI
8. Monitor is hooked up directly to the card with Displayport
9. Yes, I reset to factory default
I should mention again, it is only the REC 709 profile that seems to have the pink hue, the other profiles look fine.

Built on June 5, 2018. So they had it for 5 months before selling it to you. Get an HDMI to HDMI cable to test this and compare Rec 709 =
GTX 1070 Ti HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> UP2716D HDMI in port

HDMI yields the same results
However on second thought I may have spoke too soon. My observation was based on a quick interaction I had with the monitor last night before going to bed. I think my eyes fooled me because the REC 709 and DCI color spaces are much dimmer than the sRGB and AdobeRGB profiles, correct?
