UP2720Q, Precision 7540, no HDR?

Dell UP2720Q connected via DisplayPort to Dell Performance Dock WD19DC (dual Thunderbolt cables) to Mobile Precision 7540 (lid closed).  Windows HDR color unavailable despite monitor using 3840 x 2160 resolution @ 59HZ.  Windows HDR color available when using built-in laptop display.  Switchable Graphics Enabled in BIOS.  Why?

Mobile Precision 7540
Windows 10 1909,  Build 18363.693
Intel UHD 630 / Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000
PC -> WD19DC  via Thundbolt --> U2720Q Displayport

Unfortunately, the UP2720Q is not a HDR (High Dynamic Range) monitor. It is a SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) 4K PremierColor monitor.

Here is the UP2718Q Menu- Display. Notice it has the Smart HDR option =

The UP2718Q is a better monitor ?  I had thought the 2720Q was the updated model?

An sRGB monitor, so none of these. Try U2719D or 27" UHD equivalent.

"UP"s are widegamut monitors, so unless you choose sRGB preset all may look oversaturated. Also they will be a waste of money for office use, look for P or U series.
