UP3017, color uniformity issues?

I bought this UP3017 about six months ago. I am now seeing faint color banding, green and pink, on white fields, especially at the bottom of the monitor. It's very subtle -- I'm not sure a photo would even capture it -- but it is there.

I am not sure if this was always like this and I never noticed it, but I suspect it developed over the last few weeks until it just got noticeable enough to see.

I am just wondering if this is normal or if there's a problem. If it were a cheap monitor I'd just accept that it's par for the course, but this monitor is pricey and is designed specifically for color work.

Turning on uniformity compensation seems to mostly resolve the issue but then I can't calibrate the monitor which is the entire reason for having it.

Thanks.

You need to upload pictures of the UP3017 while running the Built-in Diagnostics (page 54) to the DELL-Cares agent. Based on those pictures, Dell will decide if this monitor meets our manufacturer specifications for overall uniformity.
