USB driver not found for 2407WFP
I bought a 2407WFP and I am having trouble with the USB hub in the monitor. I was running WinXP Pro SP1 and thought that upgrading to SP2 would solve the problem, but it didn't. I have the USB cable from the monitor plugged the my USB 2.0 PCI card. When I plug it in the computer displays a alert "Found New Hardware - USB Device". It then searches for the correct driver to use which it doesn't find. The "Found New Hardware Wizard" then opens to help me install the driver. I used the option have "Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software" which it didn't find anything. I've tried the "Install the software automatically" option with no results. I've also tried the "Install from a list or specific location" option. As far as I can tell, there are no USB drivers that came on the CD that was included with the monitor. It seems like Windows doesn't recognize the USB hardware. I've never had problems with any other USB hardware before. I have USB speakers, USB printer, USB firefly remote receiver, and use USB flash drives regularly without problems. I have also tried unplugging all USB devices from the computer prior to connecting the USB cable from the monitor, still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
