Ultrasharp 24" Problems

My monitor flickers and goes black every 20-30 minutes.  It's not an input problem because if I switch inputs it does not make a difference.  Anybody else had this problem?  Dell's outsources tech support is driving me crazy.  I have a feeling I need to return the monitor, is this a hassle?

After checking to see if all the cables are firmly connected, you might want to try to connect that monitor to another system if possible to see if the issue continues.  Or, try another video card to eliminate that possibility.
 
If nothing works, than you should call that dreadful tech support and tell them all that you have done to get this thing to work.  They may go through the numbers once again, but try to be patient.  They should then replace the monitor, but with a refurbished one, not new unless its still under the 21 day return policy
