monitor problems

Question

Ive recently moved my dimension 5150 and now when i come to switch it on the monitor is not coming on sand its saying in power save mode press computer power button or any keyboard button or mouse ive done all this but still no response to the monitor how else do i solve as cannot use monitor or computer

* Shut the PC and monitor off* Disconnect the monitor from the PC video card* Open the 5150 cover * Remove and reseat the video card in its slot* Close the cover* Reconnect everything* Power on the monitor and PC. What happens?
