EBR integration in VMWare

Hello,

Since we are using VMWare 6.0 we can use https://hostname.vcenter.com to manage our environment.

After installing the EBR appliance we got following error message when we login:

emc error.jpg

When we connect to https://hostname.vcenter.com:9443 everything works fine without any errors.

Is it possible to use the EBR appliance without the custom VMWare port or not? All other VMWare plugins are working without any problems.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi Stijn,

What browser are you using for this? From what I know this should work with Internet Explorer 11.

Hi

I have the same issue using the IE 11 latest Version, Firefox, Google Chrome.

Then connecting to VC5.5 a kind of port forwarding to 9443 is automatically done. I couldn't see that with VC6.

I also tried with VC6 on Windows, Linux and the appliance => no success
It works with latest EBR 1.1.1.50 and VC 5.5 but not with VC 6

From my point of view it looks like a new VC behaviour. Maybe a setting ?

There is a SR at EMC and VMware.

Hello,

Any idea where I can find the SR numbers?

Or did you personally opened a case?

Hi Stijn

the SR number is 73425654

As far as understood it is a known bug and it will be solved in the next version of VBA
