My LTO2 Tape can't write pass ~46G, it'll goto Status FULL
One of my LTO2 "drsbbackup.102" Tape can't write pass ~45G, it'll goto Status FULL
last week it went FULL ~34G, I re-label the same tape, this week 45G.
Unmount, change status to "Appendable", doesn't help, using Networker 7.3.1.Built.208

Check for writing errors in the daemon.log file for that tape, if it happens everytime then you probably have a bad tape and should replace it.

It is also a good idea to check the OS system log and match the time stamp to the time when the error occurred in the NetWorker daemon.log.
Usually there are additional details in the OS log that help to pinpoint the issue.
Solaris /var/adm/messages
HP-UX /var//adm/syslog/syslog.log
Linux /var/log/messages
AIX errpt and errpt -a
Windows SYSTEM event log
etc...

Nothing I can see from either the event or damon logs, most like, I got a bunch of old & unreliable LTO2 tapes.
I wish I can re-format'em, not just re-label, and see whether that'll breath some new life(albeit less reliable) in these old tapes.

Replaced tapes w/ another 2 tapes(used), label these 2 tapes using the same seq number .102 & .103 in the pool
Didn't help, .102 claim it's Full after 69G, .103 Full after only 18G (similiar capacity to the 2 that was replaced)
Just re-label anohter used tape (known to have 246G) on it, w/ seq .104, see what'll happen.
