Networker 7.3 Email Notification

Guys,

How do I configure Networker to send out email notification on daily backup status?Is that possible?

In NMC highlight ¿Notifications¿ and go to properties sheet for ¿Savegroup¿ notification resource. In the ¿Action¿ field type the required command to send out the notification as an email.

If your server is Windows:
smtpmail -s "Subject line" -h mail_server_name username@company.com

If your server is UNIX:
/usr/ucb/mail -s "Subject line" username@company.com

I would also add
Dirty tape drive
Drive disabled
Cleaning required and storage node down.
A lot easier than finding a problem later.
