cannot add new datadomain device

Hello,
When I would like to configure a new data domain (ost) device, the following happend.
-------
Adding new Data Domain Device "rd=srexch01:dd610_Comparex_srexch01"
Successfully added new Data Domain Device "rd=srexch01:dd610_Comparex_srexch01"
Modifying existing Pool "DataDomain"
Successfully modified existing Pool "DataDomain"
Labeling device "rd=srexch01:dd610_Comparex_srexch01"
Operation Failed
Connecting to 'dd610' failed ([5028] rpc connection failure).
Undoing any previous Operations
Rolling Back Modifying existing Pool "DataDomain" Successfully rolled back Pool "DataDomain" Rolling Back Adding new Data Domain Device "rd=srexch01:dd610_Comparex_srexch01" Successfully rolled back Data Domain Device "rd=srexch01:dd610_Comparex_srexch01"
-----------
It can create the device, but it cannot label and mount, it said the same error, if I try it manually.
Connecting to 'dd610' failed ([5028] rpc connection failure).
But DD is reachable, I have existing devices from the DD, and  I also can backup those devices.
What could be the problem?

Thanks for the follow up.  Good to hear.  I have been following your other posts- how has your experience been going with NetWorker and DD Boost (beside the slow first backup ) ?  Any comparisons to the way you were doing things before?

Regards,

Allan
