6248 - Features and Concepts

I recently purchased 2 6248's stacked for our company backbone.  I'm pretty versed in Cisco firewall configuration, but some of the VLAN and layer 2 concepts and features of the 6248 are new to me.  Is there a document or website that dives further into these than the standard product user guide?  I would like to learn and understand how these features work without having to post something on here daily.  Thanks
