I have a powerconnect 7048p with a management IP configured for in band management, however it only works on vLan1, I want it to work on vLan300, how can I make this change?

Hi,
Page 968 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_networking/esuprt_net_fxd_prt_swtchs/powerconnect-7024_reference%20guide_en-us.pdf you should be able to use the ip address command on the vlan you want to use.

Hi Josh,
That helps me create a new interface, however, I am trying to use the same ip/subnet, just on a different vLan, and it is not allowing me to create a new interface on the same subnet.
Is there a command I can use to delete existing interfaces, so I can just wipe out the existing one entirely and create a new one from scratch?
Thanks!

No I don’t see a command that does that. You would have to clear the whole switch config.
