Hello, thanks for sharing the output. Could you try to password recovery on pg 822 and factory defaults pg 823 here https://dell.to/3xES5Pi

or to factory default configuration on pg 22 https://dell.to/3faRE99

Hope that helps!

Hi Ermano,

The device does not boot up to the user prompt so I can't do any of the options you suggested.

Haryortheyji,

Based on your description it would appear that the OS was corrupted or deleted, but to start I would suggest you try running the EDA-diag from the menu, as it looks like from your earlier post you have grub working. If that doesn't help I would then recommend that you try reinstalling the OS.

Let me know if this helps and what you see.

Thanks. Am not sure if the OS was either deleted or corrupted. but I tried the EDA-diag.

dellemc-diag-os login:

At the prompt I tried Linuxadmin as username and passwd but that didn't work. Also, admin and admin did not work.
