Hiveagent still exists in show application after update to the 6.7.1.4 firmware

Hi, I've updated some new switches to version 6.7.1.4.

I uninstalled the hiveagent with the following commands:

console#application stop hiveagent
console#delete user-apps/ah_ha.conf_s
Delete user-apps/ah_ha.conf_s ? (y/n) y
console#delete user-apps/hiveagent_pr_s
Delete user-apps/hiveagent_pr_s ? (y/n) y
console#delete user-apps/ah_ha.conf
Delete user-apps/ah_ha.conf ? (y/n) y
console#delete user-apps/hiveagent_pr
Delete user-apps/hiveagent_pr ? (y/n) y
console#delete user-apps/hiveagent
Delete user-apps/hiveagent ? (y/n) y









Still i'm seeing the application on the switch.

Any thoughts?

Would you confirm that you followed all the steps outline here?

 

Also I found that hiveagent is not a supported feature from release 6.7.0.4/6.7.0.34 onwards. Please delete hiveagent using above mentioned procedure; before proceeding with upgrade to 6.7.0.4/6.7.0.34 or later releases. So you may want to roll back to the prior release, remove hiveagent, and then do the upgrade again, as it does not list methods on how to remove after upgrade.

Would you confirm if you restarted the switch since the uninstall, as I am not certain if that is required or not.

I have done the eula-consent hiveagent reject on a new switch and it's disabled.

For the current switches I will see how to do is.

I have downloaded the 6.6.3.17 version to test a switch.

We are using N3024P and N3000E series switches most of the time extreme cloud ( Hive Agent)  disconnecting from portal and also I want to know Can I update Switches from from Extreme cloud?  we are using some 6.6 and some 6.5 versions.  or I have to login with IP and update firmware?

I believe so, but would need to confirm it for you, as you are at an old enough version currently.

Manual login to update is the supported method. You may be able to use our network manager too. https://dell.to/3KNaM8v any other solutions may or may not work as we have not validated them.
