May I UPLINK (not stack) Dell N1548P with 10GbE DAC "stacker" cable?

Subject says it all, I am asking just out of curiosity. All equipment is in production so I can't experiment.

I have a situation where I will have 6 N1548P switches in the same rack in a facility.

Four are stacked together and form the main stack and this is the stack limit of the N1548P. The other two N1548P switches are special purpose and will be stacked with each other, but don't need to be part of the main stack.

May I use a 10GbE DAC "stacker" cable to uplink these to the main stack?

Or am I better off just getting 10GbE-SR 850nm SFP's and using multimode fiber jumpers.

Thanks!

The DAC are not specific to stacking and can be used as an uplink. The deciding factor is whether or not the interface is placed in stacking mode.
