PC6224 Replacements - N2024? (SAN and HyperV)

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace my three stacked PC6224 switches by the end of the year (current switches are almost 7 years old and are coming to the end of their current warranty).

These switches have served me well running a clustered Hyper-V environment with EQL SAN storage (3 x PE7xx HyperV Hosts and 2 x PS6100 EQL SANS).

My current PC6224 switches are stacked (using stacking cables) with 3 VLANs.

VLAN1 - iSCSI Traffic
VLAN2 - HyperV Cluster Traffic
VLAN3 - Network Traffic

I'm looking for a like for like replacement for these switches that are suitable for iSCSI / EQL SAN traffic. From what I can see, the N2024s look like they will suit my needs.

Spec wise, they look fit for my purposes. Gigabit auto-sensing ports. Port based VLAN support. Rear stacking ports.

Before I commit to ordering these switches, can anyone let me know any reason why these wouldn't be suitable?

Thanks.

Hi, The N2000 series should be fine as a replacement for 6200s.
