Shutdown VLAN on Force10 S50N

I noticed that FTOS gives allows you to issue "no shutdown" on vlans. However, when I "shutdown" a vlan, it still passes traffic. How can I temporarily disable a vlan so it does not pass traffic?

Are you wanting to shut down traffic within the switch or between switches? You could create an ACL that would block traffic to that VLAN page 205  You could also try removing that VLAN from trunk ports. Beyond that you would have to remove it from all interfaces in order to fully remove the VLAN.
