4550 Network Drivers

I have lost my "Drivers and Utility's" CD for my Dell Dimension 4550 Desktop computer and I need to install the network drivers for it. Is there any online drivers that I can download for it?

Dende,

All the drivers for the D4550 are available here.  If you have just reinstalled Windows XP, make sure you install the chipset drivers first, followed by the rest.

You can use the software (free) product Everest Home v2.20 found below

to identify the ethernet (NIC) adapter in your machine.  Then, just visit the manufacturer to get the appropriate driver.

http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?pid=1&lang=en
When you run the program, use the Report menu choice, and run the
'Report Wizard'.
Please choose HTML format from among the choices.

Don't print it out, as it is more than 100 pages long.

However if you're running XP, I would think the legacy driver needed to run an ethernet adapter would be in there already.
