802.11b vs 802.11g for Gaming?
Hi, I have a 600m that I use with Intel Pro Wireless 2100 3A. I have a pretty solid connection on my Linksys BEF11S4 v4 router. I was just wondering will there be a noticible improvement if I go G?
I have a WPC55AG v1.1 that I just picked up for network analyzing. I was thinking of upgrading to G since I have a card that could utilize the speed. Anyone here that is gaming on G could give me feedback on whether I should upgrade? Price is not a problem... It's just that I would like to go G if I can benefit from it. Thanks!

I guess in general online gaming. Will the speed of the G give me a lower latency/ping value, or is all online gaming speed deermined by your isp connection?

Usually the highest broadband connections are 3.0DOWNLOAD and 1.5UPLOAD(and that is a very expensive connection speed) so with 11MBPS to spare AS THEY SAID THE DIFFERENCE WOULD BE HARDLY ANYTHING. Now at a LAN party if every player is on your screen and shooting symeltaniously then i would see how the G would give you an advantage but still even then not by very much!!!
