Thanks so much for the piece you have put down. But please, can u explain the (2b) action for me very well. I have checked my BIOS and enable my bluetooth but i did not know where to get the (b) part.
I have done everything as explained earlier but still receiving the message "activate bluetooth using wireless switch" when i tried to install the downloaded bluetooth driver.
Hello. Mine is Inspiron N5030 Laptop(New). When i try to install Blue tooth driver it asks me "Activate Bluetooth Using Wireless Switch" . I tried to press f2 & fn+f2. But no changes. I went to BIOS and Everything was enabled and proper. How do i get rid of this problem? Please help me!!!
you can enter the service tag or Detect my Product. then it will show configuration of your system. you will be able to see the screen you are referring to.
I am trying to install the Wi-Fi driver; as for the Bluetooth driver I don't care one way or the other. But it won't install the Wi-Fi driver and if I could get past the error, then I do not know if it will or not. One thing I haven't tried is to install 7-zip and extract the files from the setup.exe file - but I don't know if this will help. What WOULD help would be if Dell would have the Wi-Fi driver ONLY as a download option. if I can get past this error, then will it also install the Wi-Fi driver? I will post again if I figure it out. Thanks.

Some laptops have a psysical switch u need to turn on
If it's already on, try turning it off and on
Drivers you receive with your laptop on a CD may not be suited to your laptop (stupid)
In this case, u need to see exactly which one u need, and install that one
How do u see this? Unfortunately, I forgot
But I remember it's not the kind of info you just bump into after brief search, it's kind of hidden
What I did: google for answer and you'll eventually find what you're looking for, i.e. way to see exactly which driver u need
You won't get a formal response here
Once u find it, be kind to post it here for others

Windows 8 should not have this issue. did you try to upgrade it to8.1. When I installed Windows 8.1, my internet issue was resolved completely.
to get to this page try this link.
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Products/?app=drivers
you can enter the service tag or Detect my Product. then it will show configuration of your system. you will be able to see the screen you are referring to.
