Bluetooth Collaboration -- Broadcom chipsets

I currently have a USR wireless card (broadcom chipset, basically the dell TM 1300 pci card).  There is an option for bluetooth collaboration under the advanced drivers tab.

 

Whenever I set this option to yes it kills my wireless.  The adapter cannot see (and probably can't send?) anything.  Netstumbler comes up blank.  All networks disappear from the WZC list.

 

Anyone else have similar issues or am I alone here?  Driver version is 4.100.15.5 though I have tried others.
