Bluetooth on Windows 10 64-bit on dell Inspiron 17 N7010

Please, can anyone tell me how to activate Bluetooth on Windows 10 64-bit Dell Inspiron N7010, bluetooth enabled in the BIOS, but the bluetooth  can not be found in device manager or in devices.

I tried to install the Windows 7 driver but says that is not compatible.

Thanks in advance.

 BakoPro,

Unfortunately, there are no Windows 10 drivers for this computer available for download. You could try installing the Windows 7 Bluetooth driver in compatibility mode to see if that will work for you.

You can enable these compatibility options by right-clicking an application’s .exe file or shortcut, selecting Properties, clicking the Compatibility tab, and selecting a version of Windows the program worked properly on. If you’re not sure what the problem is, the “compatibility troubleshooter” can walk you through choosing optimal settings.

Тhank you Јesse , I did as you told me I've download bluetooth driver R273580 , but there is a trick
you first need to enter the folder called Win64 then Right-click the Inst.exe click the Compatibility then select Windows 7.

It worked for me, I hope it will help others who have the same problem

Ensure the Windows 7 Dell Quickset is installed. Press [Fn] and [F2].

I tried this after upgrading from 7 to 10. I tried the suggested answer and it didn't work for me either but I went back and did it from the 32 bit folder instead of the 64 bit folder and it worked. I also had to uninstall the WIDCOMM software first too. This is because I upgraded a Windows 7 32 bit OS to Win 10 64 bit. The CPU is only designed for 32 bit architecture though, at least in regards to this software. After some tinkering (and at least of year of just not messing with it) I have it working and streaming to a Bluetooth speaker flawlessly now. Hope this helps.

Where is this "Inst.exe" folder?

inst.exe is not a folder.  It is an executable file located at C:\dell\drivers\R273580\Win64.
