Can't send emails from PDA using Comcast internet provider

I have a Dell Axim x50v with  Windows Mobile 2003  2nd edition . I use Microsoft Activesync 4.5, Windows XP and Outlook 2003 on my desktop. I also have a Linksys wireless router.

I recently changed internet providers from Road Runner to Comcast. There has been no other change in my setup. I was always able to send and receive email from my PDA when cradled and when connected via wireless router.   I had no problems with Road Runner. Now with Comcast, I can receive emails on PDA but I cannot send from PDA when cradled or via wireless connection.

I have set incoming and outgoing mail settings to that specified by Comcast (mail.comcast.net & smtp.comcast.net) on my desktop in Outlook 2003 and in the PDA messaging.  I also have the ports in Outlook 2003 on my desktop set correctly.  I don't know how to access port information in PDA.  I checked with comcast security and they stated that they had no ports blocked.

Can someone help me?

Call comcast, explain your problem to them, see if they have a port or setting blocked that is not allowing outgoing requests from your pda.

Maybe they are doing some sort of authentication before you can send.
In other words, you need to check your emails first and then you can send.
