Cannot open wltray.exe, among other issues...

It all started like this... I get out of bed, I boot up my PC (an inspiron 1501, with 1390 WLAN mini-card) and windows prompted me to "activate my version of XP", which I already did when I first got the computer three months ago. So, understandably, i was a bit confused. I then clicked YES and went to grab my XP box and all its information, just in case. I come back, look on the screen, and it says, "windows has already been activated"... whatever... so I click OK and I finish the start up. As soon as the Dell Wireless Utility icon usually pops up on the utility tray, an error message displays, "Wireless Configuration: Notification DLL has not been registered..." after I click OK, obviously, the software doesn't start. At first I didn't care, thinking I could just use Microsoft's wireless utility software... and initially, it worked. I was able to get online and do my thing, in fact, I'm still able to do that, but my problem is with the fact that (and I clocked it) once i connect to my wireless modem, 8 minutes and 32 seconds later, it kicks me off. every bleeding time it does... I've downloaded every single updated device from Dell's support site (with the help of FreeDownloadManager). Still, nothing. I went into C:\dell\drivers\R151519 and I attempted to open the wltray.exe icon, again, nothing happens. My Wireless Configuration Utility located in the Control Panel won't open either. Again, I can stay online, but I have to reconnect every 8 minutes and 32 seconds later. It stinks. On a side note, every time I do reconnect, my PF Usage increases roughly 80mb. I have to restart my PC when it reaches 1.3gb. I would appreciate some help... I'm usually able to fix these things on my own (if I didn't prevent them first), i'm just stumped. I don't know enough about the registry or what have you, to fix the problem. cheers, and thank you in advance. -Josh
