Conexant HCF V90 56K Data FAX PCI Modem

having huge issue, i reinstalled my windows, and can not install my modem. it is looking in the wrong place for it. it uses teh wizard, and says searching com 1 for modem, and finds no dial tone. Well it is not on com 1 it is on com 4 or 2 ( NOT SURE) BUT HOW DO I GET IT TO LOOK THERE,

I am runnign 98, and i have tried and tried, and can not find where you tell it it is located. there are no ? marks in device mgr. but, when i go to go online, it will not find the modem port.

You should check your Modem Driver CD for BVRP phone tools.  That software will support voice mail for you on a single incoming phone line.
