Conexant HSF V.92 56K Data Fax PCI Modem
I tried to connect to my ISP a couple of weeks ago on my Dell PC but it wouldnt let me. It doesnt detect my Conexant HSF V.92 56K Data Fax PCI Modem but it was working before. So i went to the device manager and i noticed that the Modem Tab wasnt there any more. Is there a way that i can reinstall the drivers for the modem?

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
Before trying to install the drivers, check the Device Manager and make sure that the modem is not listed anywhere else such as under “Other Devices” and a also check the Modem properties (Phone and Modem) under the Control Panel and remove any modems listed there.

The modem driver CD should have included with your system, if you do not have that CD, try the driver available for download at the following address:
http://support.dell.com/filelib/format.aspx?releaseid=r37018

My question to this is why weren't instructions send on how to send a fax? I have the following modem installed on my computer, which I purchased a year ago and now that I need to fax, I have no idea how??? It is so different from the one that I had on my old dell computer. Since I lost my job and now I want to fax my resume, I have no idea! It offers me to send pdf??? I am like what???
Conexant D850 PCI V.92 Modem is what is installed.
So if anyone has any idea or can tell me how to fax, please help. I do have the line connected. Not happy about Dell not providing this service or information in regards to what I ordered when I purchased my computer! Lesson learned !!!
