Connect Desktop to existing wireless network with 2nd router?

Hello All!!

I have an existing wireless network using a cable modem and Linksys WRT54G that works perfectly with my Dell Laptop (XP).  I would like to add a Dell desktop (XP) to this network.  I have a second router (D-Link DI-524) that I would like to use for this job.  I would like to do this without having to hard wire the two routers together.  Ive searched online to no avail about making the second router a client to the first.  Any thoughts on how I could make this work?
