Connection Speed Issue

Hello,

Recently me and a friend moved into a new appartment. We bought a new router a Netgear N600, we hooked up our computers and for some reason his gets a 100 mbps connection and mine is stuck at 10 mbps. We both have almost identical alienware auroras. both bought a month apart. I have tested both computers on testmyspeed.net and mine gets between 500 kbps and 1 mbps, while his gets about 7.5 mbps. I have went in to my device manager and made sure both of our NIC settings were the same, still nothing. Then i went to the speed & duplex option and set it to 100 mbps full duplex. Still only giving me 10 mbps when I look on the task managers networking tab. I tried using his ethernet cable too, it still was 10 mbps. I am not sure what else to do. Any advice would help.

The only diffrences between our two computers is that I have a wireless card for wifi and duel video cards. Other than that we have same specs, same computer, bought almost the same time.

Thanks
