DELL WIRELESS 1450 WIRELSS USB ADAPTER - Program Compatibility issue and that Dell SingleSource 802.11 WLAN

Hi, is there anyone out there with answer?

Someone has already asked this last year, but no replies.

I connected with TALK TALK yesterday and had to call technical support, as my wireless connection was showing up. With internet settings changed I can obviously connect.

But because I ca, Using DELL WIRELESS 1450 WIRELSS USB ADAPTER I HAD TO re-run disc that originally came with the adapter. But i am now getting a message telling me: that there is a known Program Compatibility issue and that Dell SingleSource 802.11 WLAN is incompatible with this version of Windows (Vista). Does this matter - is there a version which Is compatible? No solution is found when I select: find solution on-line????

Thanks Sarah

I did not get that message when i installed it on Windows 7 32Bit.

Connect your Device and the driver should now install. Although you get that message you should be able to use the application fine.

Hi Sarah,

Is your Vista a 32Bit or a 64Bit OS ? Right click on computer and select properties...that should tell you

I have this device, but DO NOT HAVE A DELL COMPUTER

the drivers listed on dell.com are for the DELL PCS only according to the customer service line.

We need the CD Drivers that the CD provides to get it to properly install.

Just download the driver and install it. Nothing bad is going to happen.
