DHCP Client
I am attempting to add DSL to my Deminsion 4400; however, in the final stages, I am getting the following error:
Could not start the DHCP Client service on local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service of group failed to start.
I chose the Start button, and the error pops up again. I can see the Resume button, but it is grayed out. Does anyone know how to start DHCP Client on Demension 4400 desktop?

The DHCP service (I believe) is going to be either at the device (router/switch/etc.) or at the ISP. Yes, the Dimension wants DHCP to handle the address assignments but somewhere up the line. The only reason that I could see having the DSL DHCP be hosted on the Dimension would be if, somehow, it were responsible for handing out the addresses to some entities further down the line, whatever those might be.
I would think all you want to do is to say DHCP is the source of my address assignment. The actual DHCP process would honor that and would function somewhere else, not at your PC.
