Dell Inspiron 1300 - which wireless network card?

Hello
 
I have a Dell Inspiron 1300. I (stupidly) did not get wireless installed. I have been using a D-Link 54MP USB adaptor and it was working well... until I stood on it.
 
I want to get a card to insert into the ExpressCard slot. I have been reading on the internet that Dell laptops require a special wireless ExpressCard, which may or may not be available yet (isn't on the New Zealand site anyway).
 
I went into a computer store to inquire what to do. They advised they have used Linksys Wireless-G PCMCIA cards (like this: http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/44ab22d300c3acc4273fc0a87f99074e/Product/View/XH6341 ) in Dell laptops, they apparently fit in and work in the ExpressCard slot.
 
I want to buy this wireless network card: http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/44ab1ec20bef2b2a273fc0a87f990718/Product/View/XH6313 (as it is on sale in another shop for half the price)
 
I note on the Dell Inspiron 1300 tech specs page it states the laptop does not support old PCMCIA cards, leading me to believe there is a newer type.
Does my laptop support the newer type?
Is the second card listed, the one I want to buy, compatiable with my laptop?
 
I have a D-Link wireless router. If you need any more information please ask for it and I shall provide!
 
I am terribly confused and would appreciate any and all assistance.

The Inspiron 1300 does not have a PCMCIA Card slot (this is also known as a PC Card slot).  It only has an Express Card slot.  This is new technology and Express Card wireless network adapters have not yet been released to the market.  Neither of the cards you linked will work in your computer.  Until someone releases an Express Card wireless adapter, your only choice is a USB wireless network adapter.

Actually Dell already release a wireless express card, it is called Dell Wireless 1390 ExpressCard for all Dell computers that doesn't have a PCMCIA/PC card slot.

Unfortunately i can't find the link for that adapter but they're available if you call Dell Sales dept.
