It sounds like you have the TCP/IP properties set to a static IP address. To check, go to Start > Run and type
cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type
ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Look under the wireless network connection and see if DHCP is enabled (set to yes). If it isn't then you need to open Network Connections, right click your wireless network connection, find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and set it to "Obtain an IP Address Automatically".
Since your able to get online using other wireless devices like linksys n belkin usb device, but not thru the intel 3945, I would recommend a driver update for your wireless card.
Uninstall the current driver from Add/remove programs and then click on the following link and download the drivers for your wireless card.
