Dell Studio XPS 1340 bluetooth problems

Hi.

I "stream" music from my laptop to my stereo wirelessly by using the built in "Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-card". Suddently the bluetooth connection stops, the bluetooth tray icon disappers and the bluetooth part in the Device Manager is not there anymore.

When I take a couple of restarts everything works OK again, - until the same happens again.

I run Windows 7 Proffesional 64bit. I have today formatted the computer and reinstalled everything hoping to solve the problem, but the problem persists.

I am aware of the "network-connections-on/off-switch" and it is not the reason to this problem.

I have attached two PrntScr's of the device manager during the problem, and when everything seems ok.

Anyone? HELP!

DavidStokkan,

A couple of things. How did you reinstall Windows? If you used an operating system disk, did you install the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Restart your computer and get back bluetooth in the device manager. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
