Dell d600 cannot connect using wireless to Router CISCO EA4500

Hi, I have a similar problem with my Dell D600. It used to connect to this router (EA4500) without problem, but one day from nothing it is not connecting anymore. I doesn’t complain about nothing but doesn’t connect. I can connect to my other router (E3000) without problem, but cannot do it to this EA4500. I have other 3 computers (1 PC and 2 MAC) that can connect to both routers without problems. I reboot many times my D600, I checked the Turemobile 1300 driver and it is working well, no complains no “!” on the device manager and as I said it can connect to the other router. I can connect with the Ethernet cable to this router without a problem but I cannot with the wireless. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you a lot, Fabio

Hi corbellini,

Does the laptop detect the wireless signals from EA4500 router?

Is the network secured with password?

Please check in safe mode with networking if you are able to go online.

To check in safe mode with networking follow the below steps:

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Keep tapping F8 on the Dell Logo Screen.
  3. Once the computer enters Advanced Boot Option, select Safe Mode with Networking.
  4. Press Enter.

Check if the computer is able to go online wirelessly in safe mode with networking.

If you are able to go online using the wireless network in safe mode with networking reboot the computer normally and run MS fixit: http://bit.ly/HPsyBy

Click the link above and select Run now.

Also, refer this link for wireless issues: http://dell.to/105mWOZ

Please post the results.
