I have to wonder whether you ever got it fixed. I'm having the same issue. While trying to update the ASMedia USB Extended Host Controller Driver, whether through Dell SupportAssist or from the dell website driver download, it fails and the log claims that it "Vendor Return Code is not found in Mup.xml". I don't know how to fix this and haven't found anything regarding the topic.
