Driver for Inspiron 600m
Hi guys,
I have just replaced my hard disk as the older disk crashed and i've reinstalled XP service pack 2.
I now cant access the net. I went to network connections and there isn't anything listed there.i.e no lan. I normally connect via ethernet from a speedtouch router.
I then went to device manager, and under 'other devices', the following have a yellow question mark next to them:
I need Help in finding Drivers for the following :
PCI Modem
Ethernet Controller
Multimedia Audio controller
New Tork Controller
VGA controller
O2 Micro Smart Card Bus Reader
Clicking on the ethernet controller it says that the drivers are not installed. However, when I try to install them, I dont have the correct CD. I've looked through all the CDs that came with the Dell computer and cant find any driver on it
Can anyone help me out with this, bearing in mind that I dont have internet access from that computer.
Thanks
Anil

Anil,
Did you install the desktop/notebook utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
You should be able to start with the desktop/notebook utility and the chipset drivers and install from there.

Anil,
Install these drivers, then connect the ethernet cable and you should be able to get online to install the rest of the drivers. Go to Drivers & Downloads and enter your service tag number.
Inspiron 600m XP drivers...
Dell Notebook System Software and Intel Mobile Chipset and O2Micro O2711EC1 PCMCIA/SmartCard Controller need installed first.
