It would be useful to see your VPN log - to see the reason for the dropped connection - could you post that - as there shoudl be a clue there. The log shoudl be directly from your VPN s/w client or alternatively your System Event log - Applications.
Did you ever get a resolution to this? My wireless connection works great for the Internet but it drops immediately and continuously when I VPN in to my work.
MS009-006: Security Update for Windows (KB958690) came up last 'Patch Tuesday', 03-10-09. Since then there have been many customer systems that either blue screen or lock up when they try to connect via Remote Desktop.

Hi there, Try to disable your default gateway option from your VPN. That should work :emotion-10:

Try rolling back the updates and that might help.
