if you running the same email account on both computers it will not. one computer will only get the email. I will depend on which computer scans the server first.
Thanks for your response, Dave50, but I actually got it to work after some changes. My daugter told me I should go to my email account settings and check the box that keeps email copies on the server. I also did a repair using the account settings. To test it I turned off my desktop and sent an email test message to myself from my laptop. It showed up on my laptop, as well as a message from a friend in Sweden. I then turned on my desktop, and both messages were there as well.
Incidentally, the desktop has MS SB Office 2003 and the Laptop has Office SB 2007.
