FRUSTRATED/Computer, printer and speaker

I bought a new Inspiron 531computer, printer (photo 966) and speakers. My printer and computer won't communicate. I tried to scan something and it does nothing. I've tried copying from the computer and it does nothing. Also, my rear speaker (which is wireless) doesn't work. I did everything it said to do and it still won't work. I also was going to burn me a cd and the eject button won't work to put in the blank cd. I also have a message that keeps popping up on my screen.
 
I am totally frustrated!!!  I bought a Dell several years ago and never got my problems solved. I can't afford for that to happen this time. I have a major communication problem with them. What do you suggest that I do?

reinstall your printer drivers.  you can use a paperclip to force eject the cdrom drive.  put in a paperclip on that tiny hole on the cdrom and it will eject. if the problem will persist, you might need to call Dell and have that replaced.

Bronze, I did what you said and nothing happened. So, I pulled down the cover for that cd drive and there is nothing there!! No wonder it doesn't work !! Dell is not helping me and I don't know what to do. I spent almost $2000 for all of this and can't get help. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked device manager?  Are there any yellow exclamation points next to anything?  Are you within the 21 day return window?  If so, maybe all you need from Dell is an RTM number and a replacement of your entire order!
