Getting unwired

My son gave me this Inspiron 1100 for Christmas, real nice machine.  I am confined to a wheel chair and need to be able to get rid of all these wires, we have a ole sloe poke home computer, and only dial up internet, how, what do I need to accomplish unwiring myself, just need to do this around my house???????????

I have contacted Dell Tech three times in the last five weeks by email, they never answer!

I really dont know much about these things so if you got any answers Please answer in SIMPLE terms

The best thing to do is get an external hardware modem (something like this), then a wireless D-Link DI-713p router - it will dial the modem for you when you go to access the internet.  It also has a built-in print server - you plug the printer cable to the port on this router and everyone on the network prints to it.  Or get this modem and connect any wireless router to it.  The DI-713p is the only router currently being sold new that I know of that has the print server in it.  Lastly, you would need any PCMCIA (PC Card) wireless card to reach the router.  If you get the D-Link, get this D-Link DWL-650 card.  It is on sale this week at Best Buy.
