Even an extended warranty would not cover this problem. Warranties are for failed hardware, not software problems. Reboot and run the Network Connection Wizard again and set up a new connection. You then use the new connection as the default and delete the old one. Resetting the network might help too. Unplug the power from the router and modem and turn off all the computers. Then turn on the modem first, wait 3 minutes. Then turn on the router and wait again. Then turn on the computer.
