Hi! Wireless issues please help!

Question

I have a dell inspiron 1525 with windows vista installed. since vista has downloaded and installed certain upgrades the laptop fails to detect the wireless networks. its the second time this has happenned. first time i reinstalled windows and it worked until the automatic upgrade messed it up! i then installed a wireless usb stick. still does not work. can someone please help me? thanks what my laptop shows when i try finding wireless connections.

Don't do Automatic Updates. Install one by one until you find the culprit.

How do i stop windows from doing automatic updates? also anyway i could delete updates?
